Signs of Spring

Posted March 28, 2014

After a long and bitterly cold winter, I cannot be more excited that it is finally springtime! On a recent visit to one of our favorite blogs, A Beautiful Mess, I came across a little gem of spring inspiration: the Spring Wallflowers Sign.

We decided to follow Elsie and Emma’s directions and make this sign to hang in the retail store of our sister company Beehive.
Here’s how I did it:
We used a Styrofoam board
Loads of beautiful artificial flowers
Cardboard letters
White spray paint & hot glue
The first thing we did was spray paint the cardboard letters white.

Next we glued the letters onto the styrofoam board using hot glue.

Then we cut the fake flowers from the stems and glued them all around the letters.

Finished!

This project was so fun to do and this concept is so versatile, you could make a sign like this for just about anything: parties, showers, special events, or just for your home! The possibilities are endless!
I hope you are able to try out this project some day! Be sure to visit Elsie and Emma’s blog, A Beautiful Mess, for other neat projects and inspiration!
Have a great day!
